Based in the UK, Oliver Ayre is a respected tattoo artist and educator known for his dynamic black & grey realism. With over a decade of experience, he’s earned a reputation for precision, depth, and storytelling through ink.

Oliver’s YouTube reviews of the ACUS M1 garnered widespread attention. His honest reflections helped launch our brand into the spotlight. His engaging style breaks down complex gear insights while celebrating the art behind the machine.

In September 2023, he joined us at the Berlin Tattoo Convention, where we shared a stand and sparked a defining moment: the collaboration that led to the M1 Ayre Artist Edition, a machine that bears his name and reflects his stamp of quality and reliability

Oliver joined the ACUS Artist Team in March 2023, one of the first to receive our production M1. His testing phase culminated in the M1 Ayre. A limited-edition model featuring his preferred setup: silver body & the 4.1 mm stroke.

His hands-on reviews and live demos continue to shape our brand’s ethos, blending technical dialogue with deep artist insight. Whether in Berlin or online, Oliver is a core part of the creative force behind ACUS and we couldn’t be more proud.
