Born in Bratislava, Slovakia, Samuel Potucek has been tattooing professionally since 2009. His journey began during his time at a secondary art school, where his passion for drawing and painting evolved into a full-time commitment to the tattoo craft. Shortly after graduating, he stepped straight into the tattoo world — and never looked back.
Today, Samuel is the owner of one of the largest tattoo studios in Slovakia, leading a team of seven talented artists. His work is defined by high-contrast realism in both black and grey and color, where every stroke is informed by his background in fine art. Whether it’s a portrait, an abstract concept, or a full-sleeve narrative, Samuel approaches every tattoo like a canvas — with patience, control, and deep emotional connection.
Outside the studio, he continues to explore art through painting and drawing, aiming to exhibit his personal tattoo design collections internationally. Teaching and mentoring young tattoo artists is a key part of his future vision, as he sees knowledge-sharing as essential to the growth of the industry.
Samuel joined the ACUS Pro Team with a shared vision for innovation and artistic integrity. What started as a tool collaboration quickly evolved into a creative partnership. His expectations from the team are clear: long-term collaboration, support with custom projects, the opportunity to develop limited-edition tattoo machines, and shared visibility through social media and conventions.
In 2025, he tattooed live at the Gods of Ink convention in Frankfurt under the ACUS brand — a key moment that showcased his alignment with the team’s energy, values, and community spirit.
