Artist Woojin Choi, known in the tattoo world as Oozy, is a South Korean-born creator currently based in Los Angeles, and he has been honing his craft for over eleven years.
Oozy is celebrated for pioneering the “porcelain skin” tattoo style, blending ultra-fine lines and cobalt-blue ink to evoke the delicate beauty of East Asian ceramics. His designs often featuring dragons, skeletal geishas, or subtle nods to ramen bowls, carry the visual legacy of Tang dynasty porcelain into modern tattooing.
Educated in animation and drawing, his early artistic training informs his precision and composition. He often treats the skin as a living canvas, layering dotwork, negative space, and delicate shading to mimic porcelain glazing and brushwork.
